Scripture Distribution by Bible Societies
In 2002, member Bible Societies of the UBS distributed more than 578 million Scriptures worldwide, including:
- 25.0 million Bibles
- 22.6 million New Testaments
- 20.7 million portions
- 12.9 million New Reader portions
- 457 million selections
- 40.4 million New Reader selections
In most countries, these publications were either sold at subsidised prices or given free of charge. |
