The need
The enormously successful Jesus. All about life (JAAL) campaign used the media as a means of challenging thousands in NSW and WA to engage with God’s Word.
More than 200,000 Scripture resources were distributed during the course of the campaign as TV, radio and print advertisements, banners and events all inspired debate and raised questions about Jesus and what He has to say about life.
Importantly, 1600 churches from various denominations worked together on the one campaign towards a common goal.
Now Bible Society wants to build on the momentum created by the campaign.
Making a difference
The JAAL website played a key role throughout the campaign and had over 140,000 visits. You can help us make the most of this strong web presence and transform the JAAL website into Australia’s leading Bible resource website.
We aim to offer:
• The Bible in different formats
• Devotions
• Bible studies
• Videos
• Interaction (e.g. blogging)
• Daily readings
• Children and youth materials
• Resources for state school Scripture teachers
We will also develop culturally-appropriate publications that will make God’s Word more meaningful and accessible to as many Australians as possible.

Reaching the goal
• Jan – Jun: Create Bible-engagement resources for the website, and also in print, audio and other formats
• Jun – Dec: Develop website and continue to create resources in various formats
