The need
The Christian Church has existed in Nepal for only 50
years. It continues to grow, but faces the challenge of
reaching a diverse nation where 145 different languages
are spoken, and where poverty and illiteracy frequently
block the way to God’s Word.
Making a difference
You can help us reach every Nepali tribe and language
group with the Gospel message – whether they are
literate, illiterate or semi-literate.
Global Recording Network (GRN) has produced
audiovisual presentations of Bible material in more than
110 languages and dialects spoken throughout Nepal.
These are incredibly effective tools for evangelism and
teaching as they are able to engage those who cannot
read or who only speak their tribal language.
We are partnering with GRN to distribute Gospel kits
to communities across Nepal. Each kit utilises picture
materials, audio cassettes, hand wind cassette players
and MP3 players.
A network of over 2,000 pastors and evangelists will
use these resources to share the Gospel with people
they meet.
“The cassettes and other materials I received from you
are making our ministry easier. I have shared the Gospel
with so many people, and about sixty people have
already accepted Jesus as their Saviour.”
- Ram Thapa
