 For Woman
He loves me The Bible Society is about to release two new beautifully presented slimline editions of the Scriptures, especially for women.
In a special edition of the New Testament, together with Psalms and Proverbs, you can read how God loves you and longs for you to be in a relationship with Him.
You will also be encouraged by the stories of ordinary women who have discovered God’s faithfulness and care within the pages of the New Testament, and personally experience the difference His friendship can make in a woman’s life. In ‘He Loves Me, He loves me not’, He loves me, a new publication of the gospel of Luke, you will explore questions like Who is Jesus? What is He really like? How does He regard me? Is it possible that this extraordinary man can love someone like me? It's a fresh look at some of the ‘slices of His life’ through the eyes of a woman. At the centre of this book there is more than just an extraordinary man – much more. There is a King and a God whose passionate love for people cost Him His life.
For more information on these exciting new publications, please call our Women’s Ministry Coordinator Julie Byrant, on 0410 492 020.
Spreading the word Here are three ways to help Bible Society in its grand mission to spread the Word.
- Remember the Bible Society NSW in your Will
Bequest funds are invested to ensure that the work of publishing and distributing God’s Word continues long into the future.
- Workplace giving
Consider asking members of your family to deduct $10 each month from their wages. Their pay office deducts the money from the gross pay, then deducts the tax from the net amount, reducing the employee’s tax.
- Volunteers
Volunteers reduce our overheads. They assist staff with special projects and events in the community, within congregations, at workplaces or just helping out in the office. We promise a good investment of time, effort, training and well managed supervision with plenty of nurturing.
If you would like any more information on bequests, workplace giving, or our volunteers programme call Mark Lees on (02) 9888 6588.
