Opening the eyes of our

It begin with, we are taking our first youth that we have ever undertaken.

It will be held from 1st-7th July. We’ll be taking 20 Year 10 and 11 students from Sydney's Covenant Christian School to the Wontulp Bi Buya Indigenous Theological College. They’ll also run a KIDSGAMES based mission to children in the Yarrabah Aboriginal community, just outside Cairns.

They'll be learning about Aboriginal culture and how the Gospel is making such a huge impact on communities throughout the Top End. This exciting trip will allow them to see the depth of the needs in Australia’s north, as well as the difference that their support is making. As young people – they’ll see that they really can make a difference.

Then in December 06 and January 07 over two weeks, we'll be leading a trip to the Thai/Burma border. In partnership with Global Aid Network (GAiN), we'll be taking the message of Jesus to Burmese refugees. We are looking to bring together a team of 25 young adults from across New South Wales.

They will be assisting in running free medical clinics in villages and refugee camps within the border region, praying with patients and running children's ministry programmes alongside the medical clinics. They will also be assisting and running crusade type events and church services in refugee camps and border villages and distributing Bibles to those adults who respond either

Through the clinics, services or crusades. For the children, we’ll be distributing ‘Bible Backpacks’ which contain some basic hygiene products (brush, toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo) as well as pencils, paper and a children's Bible.

These are brave new undertakings for our youth work and we look with great expectation to the blessings that will flow from them.
