ZVOX to Cambodia
Cutting edge technology is enabling God’s Word to make a difference to thousands of people in Cambodia. Bible Society is joining with Samaritan’s Purse and Marina Prior to ensure that the Bible is heard across this needy nation as never before.
We aim to supply 500 ZVOX solar powered audio players to rural communities where literacy rates are low. ZVOX is an ingenious device with 500 hours of practical health and hygiene advice, the full Khmer Bible and Bible lessons stored on it.
We have very specific aims for this project:    

   • Bring the life saving and life changing message of Jesus.
   • Establish the church as an agent of holistic change in its local community.
   • Battle the major health challenges of HIV/AIDS and poor sanitation. We’ll be training educators who will each in turn teach at least 10 community members and one sister church. This means the initial 100 churches with a ZVOX each will be able to spread God’s Word and life saving lessons to up to 10,000 members of their communities.


Following a recent visit to Cambodia, Marina Prior said – ‘It is essential that we care for the whole person, by providing physical and spiritual aid to victims of war, poverty, natural disaster and disease. To see the joy on the faces of those being helped made me realize how important this work is and what a difference it can make.’
