Dear Partner in the Gospel Ministry of Bible Society,
Summer is with us and of course that means Christmas, the time when we reflect on the coming of Jesus our Lord to dwell amongst us. This year we've produced our own Christmas cards, through which we can bring the Christmas story to children. I trust you will be able to make great use of them, as you either read the story or encourage a young person to read the account for themselves. At our annual dinner in November, we reported on the work being carried out in Cambodia with our 'ZVOX 500 Hours of Hope' project and were greatly encouraged by ongoing support. Can I assure you that all our projects that have a humanitarian element, are run in conjunction with partner organisations who also have a heart for Bible distribution. Bible Society does not enter into projects with partners unless there is at least 50 percent Bible content in the program. Bible Society's role continues to be to provide the Bible, so that people around the world can enter a living relationship with Jesus. The 'Jesus. All about life' campaign has run in Tasmania with more than 80% of churches working together. Planning is now underway for the campaign to come to Sydney. As always there is greater detail to be gained by visiting our website. However, if you don't use the web please feel free to contact us to discuss the work, or request a fuller report than we bring you in Bibles@work. Our staff wishes you a blessed and holy Christmas season and continues to thank you for your partnership in bringing people into a living relationship with Jesus for eternity.
Daniel Willis
