Dear Friends,
I have recently returned from an extensive overseas visit where I was privileged to see the amazing work that continues to be done around the world through Bible Society. In this issue of Bibles@work you will see updates from some of the work you support. We also report on some of the diverse projects that we are involved with and the sort of people who connect with the Society.Bike for Bibles has been running for 25 years now and continues to be a significant contributor to raising funds and supporting work. However, the rides are not just about raising funds, they minister to the riders along the way, helping them to grow in a saving and living relationship with Jesus.The backbone of the Society has always been those who support us, some financially, some with prayer and some with labour. We bring you a remarkable story of one of us, who loves the Lord and wants people to have a copy of His Word so they can know Him personally.Again I thank you for walking with us in the marvelous journey; of upholding us in prayer; and of responding to the need so that the work continues. The world is all the richer because you have participated and some will live with our Lord forever because you were involved.
