Recently Bible Society held its latest AGM. 80 members attended and voted for a largely new Board of Directors. We welcome the new members and ask that you keep them in your prayers as they continue to assist the Society to move forward. During the first quarter of 2008 we had a visit from the Hong Kong Bible Society to promote the Revised Chinese Union Version of the Bible. The tour was a huge success and was well received by the Chinese community.We have also had a team visiting Rwanda and Tanzania. The expansion of programs in each of these countries indicates the effectiveness of the Bible programs in which we are involved. We are excited by what God has entrusted to us and would again ask for your prayers for the supply of resources to meet these demands.In addition to all this we have been busy revising the ‘Sports New Testament’. There are new testimonies and a DVD has been created to go along with the written Word.Bible Society continues to grow and be focused on meeting the demands of Bible ministry around the world. The biggest inhibitor is funds. We continue to examine ways of saving on expenses and finding new and greater sources of funding to meet this exciting and life changing work in which we are all involved.
