Life Begins for Jesus. All About Life


Jesus. All about life is a massive multi-media campaign that will create a greater awareness of Jesus in our communities.
Enjoying the full support of all Christian denominations, this will be the first time the mass media, internet, churches and individuals have come together to actively promote a faith in Jesus.

The main campaign will run for 6 weeks from the 14th September and aims to have at least 80% of people in NSW see the advertising at least 10 times over that period.

Advertising agency 303 is working alongside the Bible Society team to produce an integrated campaign with a message that resonates with audiences, encouraging them to re-examine Jesus.

“We live in a community where the McDonalds golden arches are more prominent than the cross", says Bible Society CEO Daniel Willis. “The church needed to take a radical step to increase our presence… This campaign aims to show how the teachings of Jesus are still relevant to life now.”



Taking Jesus to the Streets


Over 1,000 Christians wearing bright red Jesus. All about life T-shirts took part in the annual City2Surf – the world’s biggest road run. Besides being a fantastic witness to the 74,000 who ran alongside them, participants raised thousands of dollars to support the up-coming JAAL campaign.

Youth Coordinator Mark Brown gave Jean Beaver the opportunity to fly the flag for Jesus in the City2Surf – pushing her the whole 14km in her wheelchair

CHURCHES:
• Fly Jesus. All about life banners outside your church building
• Visit the campaign website: www.jesusallaboutlife.com.au for great resources to take the Word deeper into your community
• Run an outreach event throughout the campaign, displaying the JAAL logo

INDIVIDUALS:
• Pray for the success of the campaign in NSW and WA, and for the many people the campaign will introduce to Jesus.
• Visit www.allaboutlife.com.au and let people know what you're thankful for.
• Advertise the campaign using corflutes, bumper stickers, JAAL T-Shirts – all available at www.jesusallaboutlife.com.au
• Support the outreach events being run by churches in your area to link in with the advertising.
• Initiate conversations about the advertising campaign as often as you can.

South Coast on the Move


The South Coast team was committed to making the JAAL campaign a success, so they met with local media outlets to determine what was necessary to secure editorial space in the secular media.

Reasoning that a picture tells a thousand words, the team, headed by Rochelle Jeffrey, set about planning a memorable JAAL photo shoot.

“All agreed the most marketable aspects at our disposal are the Jesus Racing Team, the Sea Cliff Bridge, and the fact that all denominations have united to make the campaign a success,” says Rochelle.

“So I set to work. The Jesus Racing Team agreed to be part of the project, and I asked the Illawarra Prayer Network of 1500 prayer warriors to pray for a photographer and a helicopter. We were blessed that the amazing Dee Kramer, one of the South Coast's leading photographers, volunteered his services and we had the offer of not one but two choppers! The result is an amazing set of photographs that will ensure excellent media coverage right across NSW throughout the duration of the campaign.
